Mobilize Disciples
Hanfield's stated mission is to make, mature and mobilize disciples of Jesus Christ in order to magnify God's name. Perhaps the most important part of that mission is mobilization. It is through mobilizing disciples that others in our community and around the world can come to know Jesus. Moblizing starts the cycle all over again, so that more disciples can be made, matured, and mobilized again!
There are lots of opportunities at Hanfield for you to reach your world. We had members involved in 3 different mission teams in 2008. We've sent teams to Peru, Northern Ireland, Kenya, Zambia, Arizona, and many other places. We also support several missionaries in many corners of the world.
But outreach is not just a global thing. There are lots of ways for you to help people right here at home through local ministries such as Kid's Hope USA, Crisis Pregnancy Center, or Boys & Girls Clubs. So don't just sit there - get up and reach out!
