Arizona Mission Trip

2008 Arizona Mission Team

In July 2008, a group went from Hanfield to Arizona to minister to the Native Americans and missionaries Mark & Nancy Smith. They took with them children's bibles, school supplies for missionary teachers, and welcome kits and food/groceries for the Victory House participants. The Victory House is a place that ministers to drug addicts to help them get their addiction controlled and start their lives new. The team was also able to minister to Mark & Nancy Smith by supplying fuel and needed repairs for their vehicle and conducted bible studies with the Native Americans.

Randy McMillan and Robyn Schamber both shared about the spiritual heaviness they felt there. Much prayer is needed for these people, as there is a lot of spiritual warfare taking place, with a heavy New Age influence in the area. They were encouraged by seeing many of the Navajo starting to give up Navajo traditions that are in direct conflict with Christian beliefs.
