Outreach@HanfieldArizona Mission TripThank YouOctober 10, 2008 Dear Hanfieldites, The Arizona Mission Team is appreciative of all you have done in supporting us monetarily and through donated items. We had several events to raise money and donations. Hanfield blessed the team tremendously. Thank you for purchasing items from our "Dessert for the Desert" fundraiser during LIFE classes last year. The rummage sale in the summer was a huge success. In the pouring down rain people came to buy our goods while many others having rummages had to close down due to lack of sales. The baked goods from the UMW were a hit! To the parents and children giving at VBS this past summer - your offerings were truly amazing. We were able to buy five cases of Bibles with a total of 80 Bibles being sent out on the reservation. Way to go, kids! The team and some friends put together 50+ Welcome Kits for the Victory House. The money you gave allowed us to buy freezer goods and fruit for the Victory House, too. The men in the house, as well as founder Robert Tso, were truly grateful, praising God for the provisions. The school kits supplied about 3 classrooms of twenty-five students. Praise God for your generosity! We were even able to give a teacher some supplies. The remaining money was given to Mark and Nancy Smith as a love offering. It was just enough money to pay for major repairs on their truck, which was damaged while we were in Arizona. The team feels blessed and humbled by your generosity. It was wonderful seeing how the church pulled together and supported us. May God bless you for your giving and your prayers. In Christ, |
