Making Disciples

You can help Hanfield make disciples for Jesus Christ by helping in the following areas:

  • Food Pantry - Keeping the pantry organized and stocked with supplies. This opportunity also includes the Baskets of Joy event each December.
  • Global Missions - This team promotes cross-cultural missions & missions trips, and encourages our missionaries with congregational support.
  • Guest Center - Are you friendly and do you enjoy meeting new people? The Guest Center may be right for you! Help greet visitors along with Pastor Tim at the end of each service.
  • Guest Ministry - Each visitor to Hanfield receives cookies and mugs from Hanfield. How to you think they get there? This opportunity also involves making phone calls to recent guests seeking to be helpful.
  • Local Outreach - This team initiates special events that are designed to reach out to people in our community in both spiritual and physical ways.
  • Special Events Ministry - This team provides unique events that provide avenues for spiritual growth and outreach.
  • Ushers & Greeters - The first impression many people have of a church is the person greeting them and handing them their bulletin. Be a part of this team that seeks to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending worship. Duties include greeting people, handing out bulletins, excorting guests, seating people and providing assistance for those with special needs.
  • Welcome Center - The Welcome Center is the information hub of Hanfield and needs friendly people who will assist members and guests with their questions.
