Meet the Director/ Lead Teacher
Elizabeth (Liz) Adams has lived in Grant County for more than 22 years. She and her husband, Edward, make their home in Jonesboro and have been members of Hanfield Global Methodist Church for 13 years. They are the parents of four -- with one daughter now in the arms of Jesus — and grandparents to three.
An honors graduate of Ball State University in Elementary Education, Elizabeth has served in public and private education, as well as in church and business administration. She has also cherished seasons spent as a full‑time at‑home mom. Throughout her life, she has been active in civic and church organizations, often in leadership roles, and has been invested in children’s ministry since her teen years.
Elizabeth enjoys the unconditional love of her dogs, creative writing, and exploring God’s creation — especially while breaking in a retro‑style camper. She is a big fan of Mr. (Fred) Rogers, the Lord of the Rings films, and finds inspiration in the words of C.S. Lewis and Corrie Ten Boom. Above all, she strives to live authentically as the person God created her to be and to share the love she knows can only be found in Him.
